When we acknowledge and feel the pain and we can express it, it is transformed, and the suffering ceases.
As we grow older, if we do not do any personal work, our somato-psychic structure gradually closes and becomes rigid; in the same way that we lose muscle tone. There is always time to change it, there is no age limit.
What does therapy bring us?
Each person is different, has a unique personal story and specific needs, and this is what we will focus on. However, in general terms we could say that the therapeutic process helps us to improve confidence in ourselves, to feel the connection with our body and emotions. To feel the impulse (from the different instinctive needs, such as the need for protection, care and affective nourishment, autonomy, sexuality and knowledge), understand what happens to us and why.
It helps us improve our relationships and communication with the people around us, it will be easier for us to set limits and ask for what we need.
